Free car museum and observation tower!
This car museum is quite nice - and there isn't any admission fee! There is also a good cafeteria in the museum. Remember to visit the free observation tower next to the car museum, too. There are also nice nature trails near the museum.

Small but very nice
We really enjoyed this small museum, it has a lot of personality. The shop is as jice as the museum itself with many collectors items in different price catogories. The perfect place for some christmas shopping. The observation tower that is about 100m from the museum was very nice too, I would recommand going here. Both the tower and museum were free of charge. The only negative aspect is that it was a little hit difficult to find.

Free entry, nice cafe and lake scenery
We visited here with our toddler on our way to northern Finland. The car museum has a nice collection of the old cars with no entry fee. Cafe is good, serving nice ice cream with reasonable price. You have also a nice lake scenery and can walk down to the lake Roine shore (almost 200 steps on the stairs!) - nice place to go for a swim on a warm day, too. If you are driving past Tampere, this place is worth a detour if your kids (and husband) are keen on cars!
