The Sara Hildén Art Museum, which is the permanent home of the collection of modern art, Finnish and foreign, owned by the Sara Hildén Foundation, is maintained by the City of Tampere. The museum places on exhibition works belonging to the foundation and also arranges changing exhibitions. The museum is located next to the Näsinneula observation tower in the Särkänniemi area.

Nice museum of modern art in Tampere
Definitely worth the while to visit the Art Museum when staying in Tampere. The Museum has excellent exhibitions of international quality. It is a small and cozy Museum and has a relaxing atmosphere.

Parking very close to the museum is a challange, only a few places available. BUT this is a great place for a pick by the lake, so be prepared for an outdoor walk as well
