Very good pace to start downhill
The family area was perfect for our family. Three elevators for beginners and they where free. There were helpful personnel running them. The ski rental was working effectively and very well equipped. A good lunch at the restaurant.

Ok place to ski for an afternoon
We were at Sappee for the forst time. Our kids (age 10 and 8) found Sappee very nice and were happy with the crossing area. Everything is in good conditions, but the staff was a bit bored and unfriendly in some areas. For my taste the information around the area was very poor. When you were down getting to a skilift, there were absolutely no maps to be seen, if the lift takes you up to an easy, average or difficult hill. Also when we lost the kids for awhile it was extremely difficult to talk on the phone and get the information where they are as there were no maps and/or signs saying where you currently are at. For a first-time-visitor very confusing and nerving.
