Too cold for me!

I took at look at this place last August and people were coming out from it and having a nice cold swim in the lake. It was cold weather then and i just manged to pop my feet in. I was there again this February as I had to see for myself that people go from the sauna and into the lake through an ice hole...and yes they do. Probably the Finnish people do not find this strange at all, but I was wrapped up in loads of layers and would not even contemplate it! However, it was a Saturday afternoon and was "buzzing " with willing customers, there was a roaring trade and the car park was full. Not for me, but very attractive for many. A really cool place to visit even if only to spectate.

Traditional sauna and natural bath ! Do it !
It is a quiet and secret place, you can enjoy a traditional sauna, it is a mixt sauna with 2 rooms. After the warm session don't hesitate to jump in the lake in august 2021 : 19° it is very ok "" , we also enjoy...yes enjoy a fresh and short rain..the exeprience was very finnish ! Take pleasure.

The best travel experience of my life
I'll remember forever the view that I saw the first time I came here and I'll never forget how the waves were perfectly frozen. It was like -27 degrees but it wasn't important because I've never seen something so beautiful. The whole lake was frozen except for a circular hole where, after the sauna, you can swim at the temperature of 0 degrees! Usually there are no tourists because is not a popular place, so there is no chaos and everything is perfect. After sauna and bath you can drink or eat something hot inside, watching outside the window and thinking this is one of the best place in the world.
