The Ideapark has convenient location on E12 road in 20 minutes from Tampere. It seems the biggest shopping center in Finland. It opens everyday. There’re a lot of different brands in it. If you have 2-3 hours and some money :-) I recommend you visit the center.

    Research first before coming here
    It's a huge shopping center, with a grocery store as well. I spent two hours in this place and walked out with bags from only three stores. There's a mix of high end stores with regular stores. If you don't know what stores are in this center, you're going to be walking forever until you do find stuff. I give credit for the grocery store because you can do all your errands in one.

    Mall with 150 shops
    All shops under one roof so you can spend easily one rainy afternoon here. 150 shops and 20 restaurants and cafes. Same brands that you can find from any finnish mall. Enough free parking space and also accessible by bus from Tampere. Best days to visit, if you don't love rush hour, are from monday to thursday. During holiday seasons, for example June and July, Christmas and first two weeks of January there will be lots of people. If you want to find best prices, then January and July are best months to visit. Last two weekends before christmas are chaotic. In Ideapark you can also find indoor amusement park Funpark. Best suited for kids aged under 12.
