Nice hike in the nature enjoying the silence
In my opinion the Helvetinkolu Gorge is nothing special but you got to love the hike in a silent and rugged forest with cliffs, rocks, small bonds... So it's a nice place for a hike. The con in helvetinjärvi National park is that there are no circle trails, so you ahve to hike somewhere and then hike the same trail back, unlike in other National parks nearby. So if you like a relatively easy hike in a peaceful forest, go ahead. Don't expect any spectacular gorge to take your breath away. Totally quite
Beautiful intact nature. The trail from Haukanhieta is easy and consists of a 5,5km path to the "hole of hell" there the view is really nice. Nothing spectacular though and you will take the same path back. Easy to access and it was almost free of people in September. Possibility to camp close to the lake.
