superb, family friendly, interesting
Great little museum, well thought through. A chunk of Finnish social history. Lots of nice activities for little people too. Recommended.

Great presentation of changing times
Really enjoyed this museum. In original cottages with excellent styling of furnishings for the period represented. Starts in 1882 through to 1973. The 'fictional' but realistic stories of likely occupants for each room, adds to you sense of the era. A total of 13 buildings but each of these has several furnished rooms. Also features a public sauna, bakery, cobblers shop and co-operative. Everything in Finnish and English. Plenty of staff in period costume roam the area if you have any questions or seek further information. Is easy self guided and allow around 1.5 hours. Cafe on site. Very well done
