Feel "Lilit Phra Lor".

The place is believed to be the hometown of female protagonists of Lanna folktale "Lilit Phra Lor", a courtly romance that ends with a tragic massacre and political reconciliation. Inside this serene park, there are many places according to the literature, such as the monument of Phra Lor, Phra Phuean and Phra Phaeng killed by poison arrows and die leaning against each other, plus the monument of the magic chicken which the old sorcerer used to lure Phra Lor. Moreover, there is an imitation of the cave of the old sorcerer. Inside the cave, there are several bas-reliefs represent some scenes from the literature. We also tasted "ข้าวห่อพระลอ", food that appears in the literature containing grilled pork, vegetable, sticky rice, boiled egg, and chilli paste wrapped in banana leaf (70 bath ; advance reservation). Finally, we bought handmade wood ash sculptures from local at a souvenir stall inside the park. Worth a visit, especially if you like Thai literature.
