    Incredible solo travel experience
This was the first place I came to when I arrived in Thailand and it was the best decision I ever made. The camp has it all - Muay Thai with awesome trainers, daily yoga & meditation, excursions to check out the country, incredible food, comfortable private rooms, and the friendliest staff. I came here alone and met ~30 other solo travelers, some of which are now close friends. I recommend Battle Conquer to anyone looking to surround themselves with likeminded people that are focused on being healthy and present ?

    10/10 experience
I stayed at Battle Conquer Gym for 5 weeks (from mid July - August 2022) on the wellness programme. It was an amazing experience and I plan to return for another visit as soon as I can. Location: the camp is relatively remote and quiet but has a lovely family feel to it. All the staff and locals are so incredibly welcoming, I felt comfortable from the day I arrived. You are free to take walks around the camp when you’re not training or doing activities. As a solo female traveller I always felt very safe. Accommodation: the rooms are very basic (no hot water), but are cleaned every other day and you get fresh towels and bedding etc. there is AC, wardrobe, drawers, a desk etc, everything you need for a comfortable stay. The laundry service is also super quick and I always got my washing back on the same day. Muay Thai: The trainers are all very experienced, focused on technique and fun during class. Classes are structured well to cater to beginners and those who have done Muay Thai or boxing before. I tried to train twice a day and also had 1-2-1 sessions to focus more on technique. Game, Yo, Jad, Jack, Nat, Pebo and Luck were all amazing trainers and each focused on different aspects of learning Muay Thai. Food: the food is amazing. The portions are very large! You get two meals a day which include rice, a protein (usually Chicken, pork or seafood) and soup at dinner. I never went hungry. If you’re looking for weight loss you can ask for less rice if you prefer. I can’t eat eggs or dairy and my needs were always followed with different dishes made by the wonderful cook! Wellness: I did not do as many yoga sessions as I would have liked which I really regret. I’m new to yoga and picked up on classes during the last two weeks of my stay and wish I had done more sooner. It’s a fantastic way to balance your training. The classes were tailored for beginners, advanced yogis and everything in between. Silvia is a first class teacher! The additional activities they offer such as hikes, temple visits, Bhudda runs, cooking classes etc are very enjoyable and break up the day, I’d highly recommend. The massage lady is great, I got a massage every other day…well worth it! The staff and local people really make Battle conquer a unique and outstanding experience. I would highly recommend
