The Phang Nga Elephant Park is a small family-run park. Our family has cared for elephants for over 150 years and we opened the park in 2015 so that we could keep our elephants in a caring and stress-free environment and give our visitors an extraordinary and life-enhancing experience. We are dedicated to providing our elephants with the highest quality of life possible and our strong belief in human-elephant interaction is what makes the Phang Nga Elephant Park so special.

Intimate and caring experience
Firstly to mention that any posts here talking about elephant rides are talking about the wrong place! That is not considered ethical nowadays. Our guide Anna was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We had a sense of bonding with ‘our’ elephant through the session, watching the care inspection of the body, taking a walk together while chatting with the Mamout, feeding her and bathing together. Lunch was great! This the best elephant experience we’ve had owing to unrushed, intimate experience and how much we learned

A memory to last a lifetime!
This was an amazing experience. The staff is very compassionate, and the animals are well cared for. It was everything we hoped for! Within a short period of time, we were in love with Johnna, the elephant we fed and bathed and led into the jungle for her evening of forging. You could immediately feel the connection between Johnna and her caregiver. Anna was our guide, and she was absolutely delightful! The evening dinner was exceptional! This was an experience we will long remember!
