Wonderful but Small Museum
The Museum has touring exhibits and some permanent pieces. One gallery was closed to set up a new exhibit when we were there. They had a wonderful, late 19th and early 20th century, quilt collection assembled by Ken Burns. They had an amazing room full of Preston Jackson sculptures. We thought this place was really worth the admission price, even though a large part of it was closed the day we went.

combines science, art and history into one museum
Most museums are just a science museum, art museum or history museum. This museum combines all of these. I watched two planetarium shows. Visitors directed the first by asking for their 3 favorite astronomical sites. The host then showed video and photos of these places and described exploration being done on that planet. The second show talked about the dangers of solar storms which can disrupt the electrical grid. Two hours seemed a bit rushed to see everything here including planetarium shows. If you skip the planetarium, two hours should be sufficient.
