Worth every penny

I still listen to Blessed Fulton Sheen talks and was really looking forward to the museum. I loved a recommend all who are a fan of him to visit cause he is someone to look up to. A true champion of virtue, and inspiring on how one can make a difference. The sisters gave us such a wonderful tour and we went to the Cathedral what a beautiful Church that gives you goosebumps walking in. The sisters have done an amazing job on a shoestring budget, which makes me happen to donate to the cause. You know they will stretch that dollar to the fullest.

    The Cathedral of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception should be added as an attraction here at Trip Advisor.
    Peoria has a lot of beautiful and historic churches, especially the Catholic Churches. In other cities here in Trip Advisor, there are individual entries for the churches themselves. One of the most beautiful if not the most beautiful is the Cathedral of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception. It is an 1889 Gothic Cathedral that would not be out of place in Europe. The interior matches the exterior in beauty . Franciscan nuns manage the place and its located right beside the Bishops residence which is on it's own another beautiful historic building. The reliquary and prayer room have amazing relics that are nicely organized. A must see if you are Catholic and even if you aren't the architectural aesthetic will blow you away.

    A Gem
    I had heard about the Fulton Sheen museum and managed to coordinate a visit there while on a business trip. One of my colleagues had contacted the museum to make arrangements for our visit and the staff was extremely helpful. They provided a tour of the museum and helped make arrangements to have our lunch catered there. We enjoyed seeing all the exhibits on Fulton Sheen and would highly recommend this venue!
