    Vindication for all Maximalists
This is basically a candy/souvenir store but one absolutely cannot discount those pachyderms. I had seen a YouTube video of someone stopping at roadside attractions on the Lincoln Highway and he stopped briefly here and so I thought I knew what to expect but believe me, it has to be seen in person to be believed. The elephant museum is much smaller than the candy shop, and yet 12,000 are packed into that spot (12,000 more in storage I was told). I mean, there's just so much you can take before elephant overload takes over - I think most visitors here come to buy sweets, actually - but seeing that absolutely overwhelming elephant display is worth the price of admission ($0) and then some.

Tons of options and interesting displays
Visiting Gettysburg, it is impossible to not pass a sign on the highway for Mr. Ed’s, so we had to visit. The shop has a ton of unique candy options and souvenirs, and even has a section off to the side that is a beautiful display of elephant sculptures and statues. The outside area has photo ops and other cool decor; it is right off of a busy road, so do be mindful if visiting with young children. Definitely an unique stop to add to your Gettysburg trip!
