Mid-Atlantic Air Museum, Pennsylvania, United States

4.5 (115 reviews) Sunday: 9:30 AM - 4:00 PM Spent Ranking #6 in Reading Speciality Museums

Great place to learn about aviation.

It was a really nice place to visit especially if you are interested in aviation. Richard, our tour guide was knowledgeable and explained the history of each plane. It was also interesting to learn about different engine structures used for different plane types. In June Museum holds World War II reenactment and plane showcase which sounds like an interesting time.

    Fantastic experience
The experience was amazing, they have tons of interesting and rare aircraft, they give you a tour explaining what aircraft you’re looking at and some cool history about it. You’re also not held back from the aircraft by a barrier which is super cool. I highly recommend this museum to anyone that has even slight interest in aviation.

    Somewhat disapoointing
Interior is very small. They have many interesting aircraft, but they were packed tight inside one hanger. The larger aircraft outside are inaccessible unless you are escorted which is a shame since they were the main reason I visited.
