Locals angry over increased pass prices.
Peak bought out the family who had owned Ski Liberty and jacked up the prices. Locals who have season passes are angry to have to pay more for a progressively shorter season. Six years ago the Mountain was open the weekend after Thanksgiving. Now it’s late January and there are still unopened trails. Many locals can’t afford to travel to Peak resorts in other states. We just ski for a couple hours in the morning and get out before the crowds come. There should be a single resort pass for a reasonable price.

    Pack your food
Hotel, skiing and snowboarding were fine. Rentals were easy to navigate- I recommend reserving equipment online. Food at Owl and Eagle was pretty good- burgers, fish n chips and pizza were all good. The greens were partially wilted in the goat cheese salad and browning with an off taste in the Caesar salad. The Alpine Marker food was bad. Beware of Sneaky Pizza- the dough in the center of the pie was RAW, all 3 kids had gastric issues the next day. The tenders and fries were dried out, no dipping sauce other than ketchup available. Mac and cheese was bland and watery. No microwaves in rooms for the 22/23 season.
