Awesome walking ♂️
This was a great place to walk, clean and different places to see, can't wait to see the building they are finishing up. Nice place for a wedding or picnic with family. Castle says they host Tea , maybe after Covid.

Wonderful Historic Mansion dated back
Took the mansion/estate tour with a guide -- wonderful decorations inside and much fascinating history. House associated with Finn family (of Senator William Finn fame). Tudor style mansion with English gardens. Beautifully furnished.

Foremost...
...it's just a county park in the woods. Yea, I parked by the mansion and something with tours and events go on there, but I think all that is on hold with COVID. Hey I just pulled-up here because it somewhat close to the VA, and I wanted to see some place new. It borders on what another reviewer called: a sophisticated park - a real nice looking park with a historic mansion. They got these sculptures all around too. I think they're fixing and relocating them all to one place like a sign said. It's more like commercial driven series of art and not like individual works: big forged metal cast in various forms painted bright. I like diversions from nature, but I like even more when the natural and man-made worlds collide, but this didn't do it for me. But like I said too, I like diversions too. I hiked some of the trails today parts of the orange, white, and purple. There's a bare gasp of autumn left - we're over 90% brown leaves and stripped trees now. Definitely almost cold out today with me liking to use my mask to keep my nose warm. I busted an ear-loop on it. What else; back home...
