So beautiful lake
A specially beautiful lake through winter as the lake is covered by baboo in brown colours..birdwatching is something you must not miss. There is a traditional restaurant on the last part of road before lake with unic bifteki of ship!

Running the Lake
I visited the Lake to participate to an annual running event. So, I had the opportunity to get a full view of the Lake ring road. I have to admit that it was an excellent activity and the Lake, although it covers a limited space, it has created a beautiful landscape!

Visit in winter or spring - great for wildlife & conservation.
Sadly there wasn't too much water here, but the drive here is stunning from any direction! The lakes preservation. is supported by the Piraeus Bank, most of the Greek financial institutions invest in local biodiversity which is good to see. The road around the lake is very pretty & it's a nice place for a picnic. I did expect to see more water in it though, especially as we are nowhere near through summer.
