Skow is the border post between Indonesia dan PNG. In Indonesia area where nice and well maintained, don’t forget to take pictures near the monuments, with light house as background. The army who guarding the border are very friendly. We don't need special permit to cross the border.

Indonesia-- no visa for many nationalities
Unlike in the past, many nationalities no longer need a visa to enter Indonesia as tourists for a month, as this land crossing is now linked up to the visa on arrival and entry without visa computer system, just like major Indonesian airports. This means people coming from PNG no longer have to overnight in Vanimo waiting for a visa at the Indonesian Consulate there. Unfortunately, the PNG side hasn't upgraded its facilities or procedures in a similar way, so they miss out on a lot of tourist revenue.
