This marvellous giant ant nest is a not everyday views for a city-boy like me. You will find this humongous ant colony just around 15 minutes drive outside Merauke.

Giant Ant Heaps
Merauke is famous for its many ant heap/termite nest (locally known as Musamus) which can grow up to 5 metres tall. A very unique view that can't be seen anywhere else. Maybe if we walk deeper into the forest, the Musamus is taller than 5 m.
