Interesting place.
I visited here with a group of friends. We had booked to come as a group, and we had paid for a light lunch with tea or coffee in the small tea and coffee room, a short tour and talk about the grapes, and what happens to them after they have been picked, and then finally a wine tasting experience. This place is in a peaceful area of the countryside, and is slightly off the beaten track. Thankfully, there are a couple of signs along the country lanes to tell you which direction to go for the vineyard. The vineyard is quite large, but the building where they make and bottle the wine is quite small in comparison. The wine tasting experience was very interesting. Most of the wines I tasted were not really to my liking, tasting rather like vinegar, but I am sure that sometimes it is an acquired taste, before you start to like them. But my first taste of most of them was not all that special because I could not get used to the taste of them. Before we left, one of my friends bought a bottle of one of the wines we had tasted and another friend bought a small jar of wine jelly. Both the bottle and the jar were expensive in my opinion, but my friends seemed pleased with their purchases. We were lucky that the weather was great on the day that we visited, and we all had an interesting and pleasant time here. I will recommend it to others but I do not think that I will return here myself.
