Visited this Place in Start of May15. Travelled thro Train From Amsterdam Central to Steenwijik. From Steenwijik, Bus no 70 Runs every 30 MIns to Giethoorn. Its a Good Place to Visit. House near the canal gives an Awesome View. Feels like we are in Venice Streets. Its a Good Place to Visit. Must to Do: Boat Ride. There mutiple Boat Operators in Giethoorn. Options 1. Guided Tour- Which costs around 7 Eur for an Hour. Discuss with opeartor for Guide who speaks English. 2. Rent a Booat on Hour Basis. Costs 15Eur/Hr. This was really Nice. Operating the Boat is very easy. Visited with 3 of Friends. Food There are many restaurants. Transportation Last Bus from Giethoorn to Steenwijik is 6PM.

Beer & Boat
We called in here for some refreshmentsfollowing the borrowing experience walking around the bridges. Certainly wasn’t expecting it when we came to Giethoorn. The pub however served food beer and wine with friendly service.
