Interactive exibits from the 1980's. How amusing. All around nice people and very helpful to find the start of the hiking trail!

natuurdiorama Holterberg musea have more then 1000 european animals in house and 11 area's were you can see then in there natural enviroment

A view to the animals you likely will not see in nature itself
We were attracted to this museum mostly due to the forest experience they have for (small) kids, but the inside of the museum is however also very well done. Throughout some dioramas, but also separate cabinets a very broad display of forest animals can be seen, that one can.. but likely will not see in the woodlands around the museum. It turned out very educational for children as well and the children's quest they implemented, it remained interactive for both young kids (3 & 5 yo). The outside forest trail with frog-themed activities finished it all off.
