Giethoorn is a city with no cars moving usually people park there car and drive the boats wondering around the lanes. So we call it a family adventure and rent our boat see the place, it's so nice. You need only to remember how to operate the boat, and map of the place because it has many lanes. You will feel the local people what they do, how they park their boat, how it look like the houses. Believe me you will not regret to come from Amsterdam only to try this experience.
