Nature walk around visitor-centre "Koetshuis Hof Espelo"
The woodlands north-west of Enschede make for a great nature and walking area.I enjoyed seeing the mature oaks and beech-trees and the woodland wildlife. The woodlands reminded me of Twickel estate in Delden.

A most beautiful walk!
This area is conveniently close to the city but offers you many choices of walks from half an hour up to two hours if you want to take every side track. It is my favourite place to experience the different seasons, which you can enjoy by just watching the trees or looking at the little untamed creek running through it. The scenery changes from being completely under the canopy of ancient and large trees to offering views of wide and lush green fields within just 250 metres. You can park your car at the entrance of this forrest area, very close to the Weerselose Weg. Enjoy this beautiful part of Twente!

Not bad
A beautiful place to walk and ride bycycle and enjoy the atmosphere. Enschede has no special tourist attraction actually and it is famous because of its university
