A must visit in Netherlands
The famous car free village in the Netherlands and it is one of the most popular tourist destination in here. It is also known as the Venice of the North. This is a real village and people live there for real. So as tourists you have to keep your distance and respect their privacy. You should definitely do a boat ride here. If you are uncomfortable driving a boat you can take the cruise boat as well. There are plenty of boat rental places here. It is advisable to book the boat online prior to your visit, specially for the weekend. Renting the boat for a maximum of 3 hours would be enough for you to cover the main trail as well as the nature trails. You may take a walking tour also through the village just to see the beauty once more in a different angle. This is definitely a must do in Netherlands.

Day trip
We did a day trip with Cherry travels to Geithoorn in a mini van with a small group. Our driver was Sayid. Started at 10am from nominated spot. Took two hours to reach. Host was very informative and talked throughout about Netherlands history etc. Kept us engaged. At Geithoorn we went on an hour of canal cruise then had four hours on our own. Beautiful place to visit. On the whole excellent trip. Driver Sayid was top notch!
