Good mini golf experience
I went there with a friend yesterday as we saw on the website they have mini golf courses. We reserved it directly at the receoption for a later time. The receptionist was so kind and he said it is fine when we want to do it just before 6:30 pm. After the tour in the village we were back at 5pm, and we got the balls and strokes easily. We were actually the only guest at that moment so we completely enjoyed ourselves in the field and even went back slightly a bit later but they did not charge for the extra fee. We also ordered a box of patat specials, which was ok and the price was reasonable. When we finished, I saw someone was making barbecue outside which smelled good! There were also some kids gathering in the swing and slide area. The bonus point is, the bus station is right outside, which is one stop earlier than the popular in the direction of steenwijk. So we got seats easily on the bus when seeing soooo many people waiting in that popular bus stop.

Easy booking and clear information
Through the internet we easily booked a boat for 6 people and all went very smooth. We arrived 15 minutes early but could take the boat already anyway. Instructions were clear and easy to follow and we had a pleasant 2 hours on the water. We came back 15 minutes late but no extra charge. Will book again if we return to Giethoorn.

Offers Great Service
Last Thursday, we rented a metal boat for the canal tour from Arendshorst. These folks were super helpful demonstrating how best to guide and steer the electric boat. The speed of the boat is slow, however, it can be tricky to change direction. Once understood how to turn and reverse, boating is easy and lots of fun. The best way to see this beautiful village of Giethoorn is by boat. We recommend this rental business, folks are friendly and the staff is understanding. Staff did not charge extra although we were 15 minutes longer than our return time. (Oh rental is by the hour.) Also, their rental rates are reasonable! So pack a lunch/picnic, stop along the way you will enjoy the ride and the village! Great for kids!
