Different and delightful

Come and experience life as it may have been at the turn of the 20th century in the countryside in Ostrobothnia. Stundars open air museum consists of seventy buildnings that have all been relocated from villages in Korsholm and the Vaasa region. There is a country shop, a village school and a farmhouse as wess as many artisans' workshops and crofters' cottages.

Nice playground for Finnish history and handicraft
Lot of old traditional Finnish country side buildings in a small area. About half of the houses were open and you can pop into and see country living hundred years ago. There is a small domestic animal garden including sheep, rabbits and hens which you can pet and feed on a daily guided tour. There is also lot of playing options for smaller kids and small zip line was guaranteed success for our kids. Outside is a big parking lot, nice cafe and gift shop. Restaurant is only open for private occasions in advanced order. Entrance 7/3 eur is very reasonable. Visit here is you are interested Finnish history and handicrafts or looking things to do for kids.
