Meteorite crater south of Vaasa. Meteoriihi center nice but run by volunteers, limited opening hours. Lots of birds, especially cranes in autumn.

    Cool!
    Really cool, unique place. Definitely worth the visit, only 15 mins drive from Vaasa town centre. Would be even better in summer when the museum is open.

    experience the earth over times
    interesting area to visit as a meteor hit half a millenia ago. learn about the various changes over time and see the relation of planets on display in respect to size and distance from the sun.
