Finland's longest bridge, Natural World Heritage Site and Visitor Center
Raippaluoto Bridge - the longest bridge in Finland - is an easy gateway to Kvarken Archipelago Natural World Heritage Site. At the beginning of the bridge there is also the Visitor Centre World Heritage Gateway where you can get information about the World Heritage Site and also tips on sights in the Kvarken Archipelago. And also restaurant to crab a cup of coffee to go. The Kvarken Archipelago is a good place to experience the land uplift phenomenon caused by the last Ice Age. First glimpse you can get also with a car like we did. If you are not interested camping.

Kayaking in the Kvarken world heritage site
Spent four days in the Kvarken area. Really good map available from the Vaasa Turist office for free. And you are going to need it in order to find nice sites to land and pitch your tent. Bring your own drinking water.
