Creada en 1983, Ordino Arcalís, gracias a su orientación norte, abre sus instalaciones muy temprano y garantiza una temporada más larga, y, además, sigue sorprendiendo por unas condiciones excepcionales para la práctica de deportes de montaña. La estación de Ordino cuenta con 442 hectáreas de dominio esquiable, 30 km de pistas, 14 remontes mecánicos con capacidad para transportar 16.500 personas por hora, 101 cañones de producción de nieve artificial, 5 puntos de restauración de gestión propia, parkings con capacidad para 1.500 vehículos, 2 puntos de alquiler de esquís, la Escuela de Esquí y Snowboard, y la prestigiosa Escuela de Freeride. El desnivel en Ordino Arcalís va de los 1.940 m a los 2.650 m

    Picturesque place
    This is a really beautiful town with many activities starting from here we can go to Casamanya, go skiing in Arcalís, to hiking on many trails like Tristaina or just simply hang out at their Cafés or restaurants.

    Best skiing in the Pyrenees
    Excellent, well groomed, snow sure, challenging and empty slopes on and off piste. This is the best place to ski I've ever encountered in the Pyrenees. It would have kept 3 advanced level skiers busy for a week easily. There are free private transfers available from Arinsal but you need to get your hotel to book them. Alternatively, hire a car and drive around so you can spend all week here. It's also located in a beautiful, much less developed valley than the other Andorran resorts.
