Museo De La Miniatura De Ordino, Ordino Parish, Andorra

4.5 (97 reviews) Monday: Spent Ranking #6 in Ordino Speciality Museums

amazing!

This place is such a find! 13 examples of tiny tiny sculptures! The work is by a Ukranian Artist and they take him about 6 months to complete. Can you imagine writing your name on the end of a hair?? One of the exhibits is three tiny camels and a pyramid inside the eye of a needle! This place is a MUST see if you are in Andorra you will not believe your eyes! Go!

    Fascinating collection and display
I stumbled upon this beautifully presented museum in Ordino, Andorra and was fascinated by it. The introductory videos set the scene well and the microscope based display of minute pieces of art is incredible. It is hard to rationalise just how these pieces of art could be constructed. Such intricacies and just brilliant. An excellent collection of Russian and Japanese ‘dolls’ also plus immaculate intricate art work to bottles and cases. Well worth the €5 entry. Highly recommended

A NOT TO MISS VISIT IN ANDORRA
This museum has to be one of the best and interesting of all the attractions in Andorra. Absolutely amazing miniatures that one can only see with a microscope and yet all have been fashioned by hand by a famous Ukranian miniatures artist. In addition to that which is shown in the miniatures area there is also a fascinating display of artifacts from Ukraine and Russia and interesting video on how things have been made. Finally, the hosts are excellent so definitely a visit for the entire family.
