Take your children or grandchildren
An outstanding presentation of OPP history and OPP community involvement. Pick up a detailed exhibit booklet upon entering, take a guided tour on your own. Exhibits are creative, some interactive. Children will be well entertained. If your lucky a staff person will be available to answer questions. If by chance you are a former member, bring in that keepsake stuff that you have been saving for who knows what and give it to the collection, you too have a story to tell. Check open hours!

Displays Constantly Changing
It has been a number of years since I have been here. They always do a good job in their research plus giving a good overview of what the OPP has done over the years. I personally know several people that have made donations to the OPP museum via my membership within the OPPVA. Free admission but you need to show I,D. to get a name tag to tour this part of the building. Things have changed here from a security perspective sibce 9/11. Lot's of free give aways too which will add to enjoyment in visiting the OPP museum. Keep up the good work here as it truly a positive experience here!

100+ years of Policing the Province
A part of the Ontario Provincial Police Headquarters building, this quiet, low profile museum, provides an interesting look at the history of the province's police force, development through its 100+ years, and insight into modern day policing. The exhibits do a good job of communicating to visitors, the various specialty careers available in law enforcement, and in policing as a profession. There is also a “dress-up” area for the younger ones. Be sure to take your camera.
