bummed out because no parking - I'm elderly.
Gorgeous park built right at the water! Always lots to see and do here, great playground for the kids. Super super clean park great for large family picnics.That being said....the biggest downside to this park is the restaurant right beside it. This park has very limited parking and most needed for the elderly and children but when the restaurant parking is full all of their patrons park in the park parking lot! This should not be allowed and restaurants owners don't care as long as people keep coming in and buying their junk!I tried to visit the park the other evening but could not get any parking anywhere for line ups of restaurant patrons waiting for park dwellers to leave so they could rush right in then mosey over to the restaurant. I will be making complaints to the city as well to have this nonsense stopped!But Spencer Smith park is so beautiful and a park to check out - hopefully without having to walk ten miles to get to it!

Wow - Burlington's Waterfront
Burlington is so smart to of ensured that this waterfront access - Spencer Smith Park- has been maintained and enhanced over the years. So many great festivals take place here such as the Burlington Sound of Music Festival - amazing. Also, just enjoy the seasons and walk along the waterfront, the playground or a picnic.

Nothing to complain about
Spencer Smith Park is a lovely, we'll maintained park. The view of Lake Ontario and the Burlington Skyway is Breathtaking! The boardwalk is wide and the new pier invites you to explore. The pond outside the restaurant is always sparkling and has something going on......remote control boats scoot around entertaining the crowd that gathers or it always attracts roses cheek skaters in winter. The festival if lights is a beautiful display in winter and the Sound of music attracts many to the stages set up within the park. Famous names entertain the crowds that gather for the free festival and craft fair every summer. A great place just to walk with your honey after dining at one of the many restaurants in the area.
