A great 'stepping back in time' museum. Trains, along with ships, was how Ontario and Canada became accessible to everyone. The museum has been closed for several years because of Covid, but I'm sure that it will work up a full head of steam in short order. There's also two cabooses (cabeese ?) that are available for sleep-overs.

Great Interactive Museum
My wife and I visited in Nov. 2022. Staff are super friendly and very helpful and knowledgeable. Fun climbing around on the old trains and learning about Canada's rail history in the process. We went on a weekday and Google erroneously said it was open until 5:00, when in fact they closed at 3:00. (They're only open to 5:00 on weekends.) We got there with about 40 mins to closing so they let us in for half price. I would have liked a little more time but the staff were so helpful and accommodating we more than got our money's worth.
