Iconic tower

Climb this 1,815-foot-tall observation tower to have the whole of Toronto at your feet and overlook up to 100 miles on a clear day. Once the tallest structure on Earth for over 30 years, the CN Tower attracts travelers to its two observation decks—one of which features a glass floor. If you’re looking for an extra thrill, try Edgewalk, where you can walk hands-free on a ledge surrounding the top floors. The tower is also home to the award-winning 360 Restaurant, which completes a rotation around the structure every 72 minutes, giving you an ever-changing view of the city while you dine. – Tripadvisor

A classic must when in Toronto
Great views all around. Seemed easier than I expected to get up close to any window to access the view. Perhaps the timed ticket allowed a better control of how many people would be up there at any given time. Strongly recommend getting the skypod ticket along with the main observation level ticket... again, they were very efficient at respecting the ticket times and we never felt crowded. Sadly the rotating restaurant was fully booked so we could not enjoy that part of the experience. Staff was professional and respectful. A suggestion for improvement would be to extend the operating hours of the little "bistro"... after a 7 hour drive I felt it would have been nice to have some food while up there but they closed at 7pm (and we had tickets for 7:30pm).

    Amazing
This is worth all the hype and prices. We purchased the CityPass which got us to the main observation area but you have to purchase your reservation to 360 Restaurant separately. In the main observation area, you can order food from a limited menu and eat at the available tables. They sell wine there too, so no need to get a fancy dinner if you have small kids, have picky eaters with you or you are on a budget. The ride down was unexpectedly exciting, you can see yourself dropping in the glass elevator. Please arrive 1-2 hours before your reserved time. We were lucky and did not have any lines outside of the building, the line started inside the building and it lasted approximately 30 minutes before we actually got in the elevator to the observation area. I will definitely visit again and absolutely recommend. We did not purchase the Edge Walk.
