    Neat little museum
This museum is a quick visit and goes nicely with the old prison across the street. I liked the displays of shanks and other prison “handicrafts” that inmates had made over time. I wish this place bigger. I’d love to see more

    A half hour must visit
Well rounded museum in terms of artifacts and stories told. The larger than life posters of aging inmates was jaw dropping. An upstairs display shows how community connections are vital. Baseball games with celebrity athletes and having the prison band featured on radio shows are vital ways to heal the inmates and create a more positive work environment for the staff.
