A fabulous little pocket park honoring Woody Guthrie, whose hometown is Okemah, Oklahoma. Woody signature is in the cement a block or so south.

Fabulous Food
Stopped off 1-40, exit 221 easy on and off. Complimentary queso, salsa and chips. Queso is light yellow, very mild. The salsa is fresh. They mix together well. Both are complimentary. J got pork tips, they were very tender and cooked in a green Chile sauce. L had beef queso that was huge, deep fried and served with shredded cheddar. An excellent meal and service was very attentive. Also the beer is very cold and Dr. Pepper crisp, fizzy and not watered down. Very reasonable price!!

Nice tribute to Woody Guthrie.
This I cute little patch of green in the middle of town. Its kept up by local volunteers. The picture doesnt due it justice. Great place to take pictures when visiting for Woodyfest!
