Lovely

Woodward Park, located three miles from downtown Tulsa, encompasses nearly 45 acres surrounded by neighborhoods established during the 1920s and 1930s, including the Terwilleger Height Historic District, the Swan Lake Historic District, and the Maple Ridge Historic District. The Woodward Park and Gardens Historic District is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as an example of one of the finest public gardens established in Tulsa during the first half of the twentieth century, as well as for The Mansion at Woodward Park, a 1919 Italian Renaissance-inspired villa designed by architect Noble B. Fleming, and home to the Tulsa Garden Center since 1954.

    Tulsa's CENTRAL PARK
Not a big park but a very beautiful place just the same. Located in Tulsa's older mid-town next to the Tulsa Rose Garden and the Tulsa Garden center. The park was established 90 years ago and has been the setting for thousands of wedding, anniversary and graduation pictures since then. Located just three blocks from the very up-scale Utica Square shopping center with numerous dining options, it should be on the "must see" list for Tulsa.

Landscaped Elegance in the Heart of Tulsa
Woodward Park is an ideal place for a breath of serenity and beauty during a bustling day of nearby shopping or for spending a peaceful Sunday afternoon. It’s balanced with shade trees, a stream and small pools of water amidst small rock cliffs. In April this area of the park springs alive with bursts of vibrant color from the myriad azaleas in bloom. A nearby, compact sculpture garden adds more variety to this landmark Tulsa park. I’ve declined a four-star rating as I believe a few more park benches should be added.
