Excellent Museum... Especially Artillery's Historical Development
Excellent presentation of Artillery's historical development. Detailed explanation of each exhibit (w/o being overwhelming). Balanced mix of equipment, the people who made significant contributions, and significant events. Well worth 1-3 hours.

A must see if your a military history buff
Years ago, and near where Geronimo's Guardhouse is located, there was a "Canon Walk" that contained many canons and large guns from years past to enjoy. Visiting the post in September 2020, I was looking for that "Canon Walk" and no canons or weapons were found there. Instead, a little ways from this area and to the southeast, was a new "Artillery Park". Wow! is all I can say. There are many more canons and such located there and each has a description board in front of them telling of the canon, the country it was from, and more. Next to "Artillery Park" is a somewhat new museum and a must see and to the south of that building is a lot of memorials of military members lost in wars of the past. A very interesting place to visit.

Amaaaaazing!
You could easily spend all day here. The museum is HUGE and very detailed. Then, if the weather's good, you could walk through the outside displays and read up on them. They've done an amazing job putting this all together!!!
