Excellent animal interaction, lodging is okay
My husband and I rented the African Hut #3 and added the Mega VIP to our VIP package. We were greeted warmly and quickly shown where we were staying. The drawback is that you half to walk about 100 yards to the hut after you park. So keep this in mind with the amount of items you bring for your stay. The hut was well appointed but lacked a couple of things. Trivits would have been useful. There are no kitchen towels to dry dishes and no bbq utensils. There are skillets and sauce pans along with dishes, eating utensils and drink ware. There is also a Kuerig and coffee provided. The bathtub is a combo two person jacuzzi/shower. The website says this hut will sleep 10/12 but you would be very crowded. There are two queen beds, one downstairs and one in the loft, and one bathroom. The patio is nice and has a gas fire feature. The Mega VIP tour included a tour of all the animals in the park and tiger feeding. You also got to hand feed deer, pet the kangaroos and hold a lizard. The VIP portion was seated inside and you got to hold a variety of animals such as a kangaroo, snake, lemur, fox, etc.

We loved our zoo trip so much!!!
My family and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this zoo!!! The enclosures are larger than any private zoo that i have been to in Oklahoma. I booked the safari sleepover for my girls and their friends and it was honestly so fun and such a good deal too. We loved listening to the lions and tigers roar from our hut, as well as listening to the apes and monkeys early in the morning. I sat on the porch with my coffee just as happy as can be. Dont even get me started on the hut. It was BEAUTIFUL! It was very clean, nicely decorated and they gave us everything that we needed. The girls favorite thing to see was the huge lion at the jeep encounter. I believe they said his name was Max. The staff was very accommodating and it was so much fun interacting with the animals during the v.i.p in the morning. The owner was very attentive and you can tell that he is really passionate about his zoo. Which is something that I loved to see. The zoo seemed very well taken care of. It has beautiful landscaping, very nice enclosures and even a tiger overlook deck where we had lunch and got to watch the white tigers from above. We will definitely be returning!
