Pleasantly surprised!
So we were out doing a little riding since the weather was nice yesterday and when another bar was closed The Landing Zone was close so we actually just rolled in by chance. We had originally thought we'd stop by for a beer or a drink, however we stayed a lot longer. It's filled with locals and there were both pool and dart leagues going on but the place is huge so you didn't even really noticed they lady screaming and yelling at men they were a female body part! But hey it's a bar. It's pretty much the time and place to do that....am I right? Safe to say if you are up tight, and you are NOT the dive bar type. THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU. Now if you are a bit like myself, and you love a good dive bar, that makes a good drink and has very UNEXPECTED delicious food. The this is RIGHT UP YOUR ALLY. So about the food. The manager for some reason really liked us, when we decided it was time for dinner, we of course we're talking about where to go, so the Manager came up and said you really should try a steak. Leave it to my boyfriend to say "yeah, but isn't it just a bar steak?" He convinces all 7 of us to stay there and eat so I asked, what's the best. Quickly he says pork tenderloin. Okay the service of the food is kinda slow, we ordered fried green beans and fried pickles, which is good because we may have eaten our arms off. However they were delivered piping hot and were lacking that taste of grease, that says it hasn't been changed since the beginning of time. And they were delightful, great breading on both and not the usual half assed like most bar good. They were yummy and exactly what the table needed. The salads were next, nothing fancy just lettuce, grape tomatoes and cheese, however it was super fresh, not like any salad I've ever had at a bar! Now the main dishes, so the manager built the Ribeye and the Pork tenderloin way up. HE DELIVERED my boyfriend and the other two guys that ordered steak were in heaven they were tender and moist and and very well flavored, good enough the BF even cut me off a little piece to try, it was melt in your mouth goodness. Now to my Pork Tenderloin, I'm thinking oh it will be just a few slices WRONG!! They gave me what seemed to be the entire tenderloin, sliced up beautifully and displayed all the way around my plate, surrounding my potato. It was moist and so tender and I could cut it with a fork, seasoned to perfection, I seriously gave everyone at the table a slice and had 3/4 of it still left! This will for sure be on our list of places we frequent. Now remember it's a bar so the food service is a lil slow but hey, when your having a beer and chatting with your friends, the wait isn't that bad!

Wednesday steak night
Went for steak night to meet with friends. Not really our scene too much smoke and the steak dinner was a little overpriced in my opinion. Basically, If you like a dark very smoky place then this is for you but if smoking bothers you this may not be for you. If it wasn't for getting together with our friends, we would definitely not come here!
