Quiet Lake with Fishing, Swimming and Camping

This is a nice little lake with equestrian trails, hiking, swimming, fishing and camping. A very nice swim beach is was very sandy and well marked. There are fishing docks and a fishing bridge for bank fishing. No Jet Skis, Skiing or Tubing allowed, just a small fishing lake. Very quiet. We stayed two nights for $15.00 per night, so a good price as well. The bathrooms were not clean and the showers were not working, but we stay in an RV so we didn't need them. Can make reservations by calling the ranger, will need to text him however as he doesn't answer his phone.

Sportsmans lake, a great place gone downhill
Camped this lake near Seminole quite a few times. Except for a few loud rowdies one time I have always had a great time. Fast forward a couple of years since my last visit and this place has really gone Downhill a lot. Not well mowed, trash everywhere and let's just say I'm doing to do my best not to use foul language when I mention the restroom facilities. They were filthy!!!! Toilets wouldn't flush and I didn't see anyone do more than change out the roll on the toilet paper as far as cleaning went. The one shower in the men's room that had a privacy door didn't have a handle to activate the shower. Paint was pealing and the fixtures were antiquated. What changed Seminole? You had a nice little gem of a lake and park and now it's just dumpy. Sadly, I doubt I'll be visiting again until I hear of a change.
