Showman's Rest and Bull Rider's Reprieve, Oklahoma, United States

4.5 (74 reviews) Spent Ranking #2 in Hugo Cemeteries

Beautiful tribute to the circus and rodeo

Olivet Cemetery maintains the remains of several famous bull riders. Their tombstones are decorated with small tokens of affection. Several circuses overwintered in the Hugo area and the cemetery has a section for these traveling performers. Very interesting tombstones. Great stop over if you are passing through the area.

    beautiful and magical remembrance
This remembrance of show people is truly a beautiful experience. It is not a sad cemetery, but a real celebration of life. And the community experiences they shared. the head stones are amazing, and it shows how much these people loved there circus life.

    Very interesting
I you are interested in checking out different types of cemeteries, this would be perfect. Lane Frost is one of the first headstones you see when you come in the entrance. then farther back, there are many interesting circus and bullriding stones with great detail. I love the elephant statues.
