Absolutely beautiful campground!

Used to be a state park. now privately ran. We are a full service RV park and campground with great hiking and mountain bike trails.

    More than expected.
Beautiful, ☮️ If you are in the area this is THE place to explore and camp! Hidden gem in a small town. When you approach the gate the first impression is " this can't be what I saw online". Check in and head down into the canyon. Highly recommend this spot.

    Progressive decline
This campground has definitely gone downhill. We’ve been coming here for the last 3 years and each year it gets a little less pleasant. All weekend we had power outages and the maintenance man came & switched out the breakers and we still had issues. The Farmers Market is no longer. The person working the office didn’t know anything about anything and just overall was not real helpful. The park is not kept as well as before. It just seems like a progressive decline. The town of Hinton is literally drying up & closing down. The only businesses in town were all closed on Saturday & Sunday. Even Dollar General & Dollar Tree. Restaurants were closed as well. It was crazy. The only thing left was casino and both restaurants in the 2 casinos were pretty sad and service was not good. Probably won’t be back after this trip and it’s really sad because the Red Rock Canyon itself is really a beautiful unique place to visit. Just wish it was maintained like it should be.
