Great family outing
We really enjoyed the museum as well as the tour of the mansion and grounds. We didn't have to pay because of our Oklahoma Historical Society membership, but the prices didn't seem prohibitive. The tour guide was very kind and patient with little people. The grounds are beautiful Oklahoma prairie and have lots of places for kids to run around, climb and play. The museum has a kids' area we really enjoyed and could have stayed there for hours. It has puzzles, books, little toys, chairs, and saddles. After our tour and museum time we drove around the property and enjoyed seeing the bison and long horns. Well worth our trip there.

Good slice of the West
Pawnee Bill's Ranch complex made for an enlightening and engaging experience. Employees were friendly and talkative and informative. The tour of the house is well worth the $5 as it is full of American Western and Oklahoma history; it is a step back into days gone by. The museum is chock full of details about Pawnee Bill, Oklahoma, the Wild West Show, the Lillie family, Native Americans, and cowboys. There is a special place for children to play and learn about history too. Take the time to view the video about the Wild West Show. It is worth the time. Enjoy this beautiful place on the hill west of Pawnee...a pleasant way to spend the day.

Great place to visit
I always take out of state guests to this place. It is very interesting, the tour gives a very good background of the old Wild West Shows. The personal history of Pawnee Bill and his family is thought provoking. The grounds are really nice. Children enjoy this tour and the museum. I have been going there almost every year for the last thirty years and I enjoy it every time.
