I-35N Must Stop

The dog park is really clean, even though people don't usually pick up after their own pet. We have a rescue and go by there often with a load of dogs. It's the perfect place to get out and burn off a little energy (for us and the dogs). Yesterday when we stopped, one of the pups nipped me. I went in the store to get a band aid and the wonderful woman behind the counter insisted on buying us a little 1st aid kit for the van. And the coffee is good also ;)

Dog Park for the family traveling with a dog (or two)
This dog park is located at an OnCue Express gas station (Phillips 66). Inside the OnCue is a Subway restaurant and a Dairy Queen restaurant. You can eat inside or get it to go and enjoy it at the convenient picnic table next to the dog park. The dog park is very nice: safe for your pet, divided into two areas (for big and little dogs), with built-in agility activities and abundant water for the weary dog-traveler. A convenient dog station is included. Next to the dog park are two huge statues (two dogs) known as the OnCue Dogs. They are fun for children to walk around and for adults to take selfies with but they are not for climbing on. They are in a large, well-mowed, grassy area. This is an easy off/on when traveling north-bound I-35. The restrooms, parking lot, restaurant area, and dog park were all clean. The employees were friendly and eager to assist. Our late lunch was hot and fresh and a wonderful pick-me-up. This was a nice break along our road trip. We will return.
