Oak Leaf Trail is awesome

My three girls and I recently visited and had a great time. The Okmulgee Lake Spillway is an attractive feature. You can climb a path alongside it to the level of the lake. You can also wade in the pool below it. The Oak Leaf Trail, which winds alongside Okmulgee Lake and then up into some hills, is relatively flat and is well maintained. We look forward to returning and hiking again. (There is also a swimming area that appeared popular. It was crowded, so social distancing would be a challenge.) We also visited Dripping Springs Lake. It is primarily a fishing lake. A beautiful spot but not much to do other than fish.

    Beautiful and peaceful
We went here to test out our RV for the first time. We parked at hickory point, lovely scenery, we backed right up to the lake. Camp ground was clean, tidy and well looked after. Swimming holes, plenty of fishing, boats on the water, was just really peaceful and pretty. Electric and water hookups, didn't see any sewer but there was a dumping station. The whole park is as neat as a pin. There was a scenic overlook, nature trail, more campgrounds for tents and rvs. We will definitely be back.

    Awesome!!
I hate to give this my review because, I am afraid everyone will want to go there. It was a wonderful, beautiful, quiet park. The spots are very large and level with a lot of concrete which helped me enormously since i was on crutches. We found a spot that backed up to the lake and the view out our windows was breathtaking. Very level access to the lake for fishing.
