Great museum! I’ve driven by for years but I had never been inside. I’m glad I finally stopped into look. Wonderful collection of patches from fire departments from all over the world, nicely organized. Beautifully restored historic fire engines & other memorabilia. ‍ . I enjoyed my visit

Interesting
Although a small building this museum has numerous exhibits and several old but well preserved fire trucks for you to view. I spent a pleasant hour looking around all the exhibits. Make sure you watch the video of the horse drawn fire engines. I was fascinated to see the horses position themselves in front of their harnesses ready to be hooked up when a call came in ! The museum has a small gift shop. There is plenty of free parking at the museum.

Engrossing museum for fire-fighter fans!
This is a small, but interesting, museum holding a vast collection of objects. As my Father-in-law is a fire-fighter in Germany, this visit was mostly for him, but we all enjoyed it, even saw some memorabilia from my own home state in Australia! Sadly there is not much in the way of information telling you what all the objects are, or their stories. It would not be a place for very small children I think, as there aren't really any things to touch or interact with. Be sure to check out the very poignant memorial for fallen Fire-fighters out the back!
