Original Art by female Chickasaw Artist in outdoor pocket park

This Chickasaw Nation pocket park across the street from three major Chickasaw Nation tourist properties in Sulphur, OK, has culturally meaningful, original bronze sculptures; water features; native plant landscaping; walking paths; and benches under a wooden arbor. It is very relaxing and a nice stop on your walk to see historic downtown Sulphur or coming back to your car or The Artesian Hotel from a stroll through Flower Park to collect some Sulphur mineral water at Vendome Well or the famous Lincoln Bridge in nearby Platt Historic District of the U.S. National Park Service Chickasaw National Recreation Area.

    Park and look around
This place is nice to meet your friends for activities like seeing the art gallery or attending an art class, rest after a walk in the park, sort out your goodies bought at the antique/collectible/gift shop next door or the art supply store across the street, eat your donuts from Donut Palace just to the south, and/or get some nice local, Native American themed photos. It's right across the southwestern intersection from The Artesian Hotel and all its shops, cafe, and casino.

    Nice small sculpture garden
After reading about this place on Trip Advisor, we stopped by to check it out. It was a brisk day so we didn't linger but it would be a nice place on a warm day to stop and have a picnic lunch or just rest and reflect. It was quite small but had lots of water features and sculptures along with native plants.
