Visit this little treasure in Oklahoma
Founded in 1919, the Mabee-Gerrer Museum of Art is one of the oldest museums in the state of Oklahoma. Father Gregory Gerrer, for whom the museum is named, was a Benedictine monk of considerable artistic talent. During Father Gerrer's travels to Europe, Africa and South America, he collected objects of artistic and ethnological value.

If you are looking for a relaxing activety this would be it.there is some wonderful art in the museum a suit of armor and mummies! They have places you can just set relax and get lost in the art. even my 4 year old loves it

A little bit of the world
The Mabee-Gerrer is a small museum yet they fit a little bit of nearly every culture into their well laid out museum. They have even added a second mummy to their collection. I make a point to visit any time I am in the area.
